Bursaries
We currently have 12 youth on bursaries at St. Nicholas’, Inanda Seminary and UCT.
Work with Unemployed Young Adults
With exorbitantly high unemployment rates, the youth face a bleak future and the temptations of drugs and crime are very real. Our focus is on enabling unemployed young adults to become positive contributors. While this work is ongoing, a core element of this is our 6-week Phakama Course which includes life skills, job and business skills, practical skills (such as plumbing, carpentry, barista training, nail artistry etc) and computer skills. We also look to foster linkages to learnerships and employment opportunities.
